The customer is a whirlwind that overcomes an obstacle in the form of a rock with extraordinary force.

His wife in this work is personified by an elegant trace from the stream. The daughter, their pearl, containing these two streams, I depicted in the form of an egg.

I decided that a young artist should make this kitty — the daughter of a sculptor from my team, Tanya. She created netsuke based on sketches by my aunt, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Nadezhda Shek.

Can you imagine the connection? Four generations of creators united in one art. I, who was brought into this world of art by my brilliant aunt → aunt herself, Nadezhda Shek, who inspired us with sketches → Julia, a sculptor from my team → and her daughter, Tanya, to whom I gave the first serious creative impetus.

For the first time, we included additional independent art in the main work in the form of a small netsuke, and we concluded no less meaning in it than in the main panel.

Another important member of the customers' family is hiding here — this is a fourteen-year-old cat, Lila, who sits on top and covers the whole family.

In the work "Movement/Overcoming" I skillfully reflected the whole family: dad, mom, pearl-daughter and even my beloved cat Lila. We can say that briefing each customer, I act as a psychologist. I look for important stories in people's destinies and reflect them in art.

An incredibly significant art project about the succession of generations, the power of creation and the value of the genus.
